Construction of a gold recovery plant and a tailing dump has begun at Jerooy deposit in Kyrgyzstan on November 24. A capsule for construction was laid the day before.

According to the State Committee of Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use, the development of Jerooy deposit is one of the largest national projects that will have a great impact on the social and economic development of Talas region. It is planned to start gold mining in January 2019, and to complete the construction of the recovery plant and tailing dumps by March 2019.
