Issyk-Kul Lake is not only an object for business or making money. First of all, this is an invaluable pearl of Kyrgyzstan. It was said by Sooronbai Jeenbekov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic May 4, during a meeting with the residents of the Issyk-Kul region as part of a two-day working visit to the region.

“I call on everyone to take care of Issyk-Kul, pay special attention to the preservation of its ecology! Yes, because of tourism, local people earn their bread, but we must not forget that the lake in the first place is not only an object for business or making money, it is an invaluable gem of our country! Therefore, first of all local residents, then tourists – all of us should not be indifferent to the ecological situation in Issyk-Kul and do everything possible to preserve it,” the head of state said.
