07kyrgyz_new_eraBy 2023, the Kyrgyz government intends to implement 89 projects within the first phase of the National Strategy for Sustainable Development program “Forty Steps to New Era”  (2018-2023), according to the National Council for Sustainable Development 2040.

Thus, within the framework of “Taza Koom,” (Pure Society), 14 projects are envisaged. The National Council noted that funding sources have already been identified.

Most funds will be used for the construction of smart cities Bishkek and Osh and for the construction of the National Innovation Center and the center of the Asian Internet exchange point.

Within the framework of innovative projects included in “Taza Suu” (Clean Water) program, 6 works will be implemented. At the same time, it is expected to implement 19 irrigation projects, 8 energy projects and 8 industrial projects. In the transport and communication field, there are 21 projects. Thus until 2023, the completion of the alternative North-South road is expected and the beginning of the project for the construction of China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway is envisaged. There are also production and logistics, health care and environmental protection projects.
