The presence of Kyrgyzstan at the annual 33rd International Festival of Traditional Crafts “Surajkund Mela” in Faridabad, Haryana (From February 1 to February 17, 2019), has been eye-catching. The representative of the republican educational and methodical center of aesthetic education “Balazhan,” the Women’s Congress of the Kyrgyz Republic, the children’s creative team “Gauhar” and the ensemble “Akak” participated in the festival from Kyrgyzstan. For the second year, the Kyrgyz-Indian company Arslanbob participated in the fair with agricultural products in the form of dried fruit and honey.

The highlight of the fair is that one Indian state and one foreign state are given the special honor of being a thematic state and partner country with the opportunity to demonstrate handicraft products, culture, performing arts, cuisine, and their tourism potential.

In 2018 Kyrgyzstan was the partner country of the 32nd festival “Surajkund Mela.”
