Strategic changes in the foreign policy of Kyrgyzstan are not expected. The Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov told journalists, commenting on the recently adopted concept of the country’s foreign policy. According to him, a section in the national interest was for the 1st time included in the concept. “There are no major changes in the concept. The emphasis is laid on national interests,” the Foreign Minister said.

President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov also met with Ambassadors of Kyrgyzstan in the state residence Ala-Archa March 13. The heads of 27 embassies and 34 diplomatic missions were invited to the meeting with representatives of the foreign policy establishment. “Meeting with the ambassadors has not been held since 2017. Tasks and directions of foreign policy will be set during the meeting,” Chingiz Aidarbekov told reporters.
