The decline in economic activity in the countries, which are main trading partners of Kyrgyzstan, has significantly affected the economic situation in the country. According to preliminary data of the National Statistics Committee, the foreign trade turnover in FOB prices in January-November 2016 amounted to $4 billion 716.4 million, which is 1.5% less than in 2015 .

The export of goods in the reporting period decreased by 7.1% and amounted to $1 billion 315.2 million, while imports of goods made $3 billion 401.2 million (0.9% growth). As a result, the trade deficit of the republic amounted to $2 086 million, which is 6.7% more than in January-November 2015.
